The function of the aluminum profile aging furnace is to rearrange the internal crystal structure and precipitate phases through artificial heating and insulation (artificial aging) after the aluminum profile is quenched, thereby eliminating internal stress, significantly improving hardness, strength, and corrosion resistance, and reaching the final mechanical performance requirements (such as T5, T6 status), preventing deformation and cracking, and ensuring product quality and the stability of subsequent processing (such as spraying, anodizing).
Specific role of aging furnace:
Reinforced materials: The artificial aging process decomposes the supersaturated solid solution and precipitates fine, evenly distributed strengthening phases, which greatly improves the hardness and tensile strength of aluminum profiles.
Eliminate internal stress: The quenching process generates internal stress inside the profile, and the aging treatment stably releases these stresses through high temperature to prevent the profile from deforming or cracking during subsequent processing or use.
Stable mechanical properties: Ensure that aluminum profiles reach standard conditions such as T5 (artificial aging after extrusion and air cooling) or T6 (artificial aging after water cooling and quenching) to meet the strength requirements of different application scenarios such as buildings, doors and windows.
Improve subsequent processing performance: Aged profiles are more stable and less likely to deform during processes such as bending, stretching, spraying, and oxidation, ensuring dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
